Synopsis:

We invite you to a special fundraising event at the Ottawa Family Cinema! Join us for a screening of the beloved 1982 classic Annie, with all proceeds going to support Devonshire School. Before the movie, enjoy live performances by the talented students from Devonshire Community Public School, who will be showcasing pieces from Annie JR, the youth version of this iconic musical. Film Synopsis: Annie (1982) is the heartwarming tale of a spunky orphan who dreams of finding her real parents. After escaping the harsh conditions of the orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan (Carol Burnett), Annie (Aileen Quinn) is taken in by the wealthy, but lonely, billionaire Daddy Warbucks (Albert Finney). As Annie brings joy and light into Warbucks' life, she also uncovers a chance to be reunited with her long-lost family. Featuring timeless songs like Tomorrow and It's a Hard Knock Life, Annie is a feel-good musical about hope, resilience, and the power of family.
